Children’s House Program

The Montessori Children’s House program  is a 3-year program that prepares children for elementary (1st grade), and it includes Kindergarten. At this age children actively learn at a tremendous rate, called “The Period of Absorbent Mind”. Our Children’s House program emphasizes independence and self-sufficiency, where children learn practical life skills such as cleaning, washing, food preparation, caring for others. The program is designed to help students thrive academically, socially, and psychologically in all aspects and balance their emotions by grace and courtesy. Our students follow a rigorous Montessori curriculum that sets expectations far higher than the standards of other programs for similar age groups, in state-approved and private schools. The learning pace is personalized and catered to individual learning styles. Children work at their own pace ensuring that they meet these expectations. Our students take an active role in maintaining their environment, which is divided in to five core areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, Mathematics, Geography and Science.

Our Children’s House meets five days a week, Monday through Friday. Children may attend the full day program from 8:30am to 4:00pm and half day program from 8:30am to 12:30pm. We also have extended care available Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
